Welcome back to my blog! I can't believe it's been so long since I posted here, YIKES!
Yes, I've sent out emails but always planned on using my blog for regular updates and sharing.
What's gotten in the way?
Life.
Life has truly been "lifing" in 2022!
The year started off fabulously as my appearance on HGTV aired at the end of December. It was a lot of fun, the family I photographed was amazing, and their beautiful photos were incorporated perfectly into their home's renovation and redesign. I'll do a separate blog post on that,

because it was truly an incredible experience!
But, back to the story at hand ... following the show airing, my studio phone was ringing off the hook. I had leads and bookings galore! January arrived and I just knew that 2022 was going to be my best year yet! Then I received a call that broke my heart. My studio landlord, a fantastic woman and friend, passed away and the building was being sold. I had to relocate and quickly! Well, I found the perfect place (another adventurous story that deserves it's very own post) that, with some work, would be even better than my last location that I loved. I hired a contractor my husband and I thought was a friend and ... you guessed it ... he took the money, started the job, then disappeared. Many excuses later and him "quitting" the job after over a month of very little progress, we hired another contractor team that was beyond fabulous and fast! I'm still adding finishing touches but, thankfully, have been able to work in my studio. No grand opening, just trying to get back into the swing of things after having to rent time at another studio and work on location during the months of renovation.
Anyone who knows me personally knows that I love a good celebration! I'm planning a video tour to share my Turnersville portrait studio but would also like to do SOMETHING to celebrate my new studio, provide a service that I love, and get to see some familiar and new faces in the meantime.
